Stopped for lunch on a road trip and couldn't be happier! Friendly service and food came pretty quickly. My shrimp fajitas were generously portioned, bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat. Would stop here again!

This place has one of the worst waiters.  He is not friendly or welcoming. He ignores you when you talk to him. We were the second family to come in the restaurant and we were given salsa but no chips. He took our order it was 30 minutes later and I asked if our food was almost out and was asked what I ordered I told the sweet lady and she went to check she said it is coming. We wanted another 20 minutes and the restaurant was full by now and everybody had their food. Remember we were the second family in the restaurant. My husband went to pay for our coffees we were going to leave. The male waiter asked him what he had order he scratched it off his receipt book and said ok leave. Didn't apologize he said LEAVE. I am still in disbelieve.

Stopped by for lunch on the way to Paso Robles, it was packed except for a table with 2 bar chairs. We were given some chips and salsa and the menu right away.Even though it took a while to get our orders, since they were so busy, the owner who is very friendly, came by and helped us. The wait was well worth it!!! Food was very good, you can taste how freshly made everything was!!! Will definitely recommend this place if ever you're going to pass by Gonzales!!!

Very impressed! Very authentic, amazing food. Respectful and very high quality service. I highly recommend El Rinconcito. If you just so happen to get waited by Lucinda or oscar, you'll have the best of the best! Big thanks to this restaurant for keeping a real home cooked style of food.
